How the CPLA200 Production Process Works
- Raw material preparation: Corn-based raw materials are prepared according to the required product recipe.
- Mixing and hydration: The corn blender distributes water and ingredients through the raw material.
- Controlled transfer: A spiral conveyor transfers the prepared mixture to the extruder.
- Extrusion and expansion: The America Extruder 200 processes the mixture under controlled conditions.
- Cutting and shaping: Interchangeable dies and the cutting system create the selected snack shape and size.
- Transfer to drying: A conveyor or air-transfer system moves the product from the extruder to the oven.
- Drying and moisture removal: The customized oven reduces product moisture using a natural-gas or diesel heating system.
- Oil and seasoning preparation: Oil and flavor ingredients are mixed in the double 300 L preparation system.
- Flavor coating: The flavoring drum distributes the oil and seasoning mixture over the finished corn snacks.

CPLA200 Line Components
Corn Blender
Mixes and hydrates the corn-based raw material before extrusion to support consistent feeding and processing. The blender has a 300 L capacity.
Spiral Conveyor
Transfers the prepared raw material from the blender to the extruder through a controlled enclosed path.
America Extruder 200
The central processing machine of the CPLA200. It extrudes, expands and shapes the corn mixture at a nominal line capacity of 150–200 kg/h. Interchangeable forming dies support more than 50 product shapes.
Conveyor or Air-Transfer System
Transfers freshly extruded snacks from the extruder outlet to the drying oven. The appropriate transfer method is selected according to the product and factory layout.
Customized Drying Oven
The CPLA200 uses a single-layer drying oven. It roasts and dries the extruded corn snacks and reduces residual moisture. The heating system can be configured for natural gas or diesel with a Riello burner.
Flavoring Drum
Applies oil and seasoning uniformly to the surface of the dried corn snacks.
Double Oil and Seasoning Mixer
Prepares the oil and seasoning mixture before spraying. The system includes two tanks with a capacity of 300 L per tank.
Oil Pump
Transfers the prepared oil and seasoning mixture from the mixing tanks to the flavoring drum.
