The Natural Potato Chips Line by Atlas International is a fully automated production line designed for large-scale manufacturing of fresh, natural potato chips. With a production capacity of 700 kg/hour, 155 kW power usage, and a 600 m² required area, this line is built with high-grade 304 stainless steel to ensure food safety, durability, and compliance with international hygiene standards.

This complete line includes a storage bunker, dosing transport, destoner and washer, peeler system, inspection conveyor, and precision slicer for customizable chip shapes. Additional components include starch extraction, blancher, air knife drying, and a high-efficiency deep fryer with integrated oil filtration, purification, and storage systems. The process concludes with a vibration-based oil removal system, quality inspection, and advanced flavoring drum for uniform seasoning—delivering perfectly crisp, natural chips ready for packaging.

Line Parts:

Storage Bunker:
Function: The potatoes are placed in a wooden crate and then loaded onto the machine.

Dosing Transport:
Function: The potatoes are transferred to the potato destoner.

Destoner:
Function: The dirt is extracted from the potatoes and then they are washed with water.

Peeler Elevator:
Function: Transfer potatoes from the destoner to the peeler scale.

Peeler Scale:

Function: The outer skin of the potatoes is peeled using friction from rough surfaces.

Inspection Conveyer:

Slicer Elevator:
Function: Potatoes are lifted onto the spiral conveyor.

Spiral Conveyer:
Function: Potatoes are arranged in a regular order for cutting.

Starch Extraction Mechanism:
Function: In this part, the potato starch is extracted.

The Shaker:
Function: The potatoes are transferred and the small pieces that are not suitable for frying are separated.

Blancher:
Function: The potatoes are washed after cutting.

Blancher Filter:
Function: Hot water is permanently filtered.

Water Heat Exchanger:
Function: it is used to heat hot wash water.

Air Knife:
Function: The potatoes are exposed to high air pressure to dry them before frying.

Fryer:
Function: The potatoes are fried until they become crispy.

Oil Filter:
Function: Frying oil is constantly filtered and refined.

Purifier:
Function: In this part, the frying oil is purified.

Oil Tank:
Function: The oil is stored.

Slide Filter:
Function: It is used to filter oil from potato chips.

The Shaker:
Function: It is used to filter the oil from the chips using a shaker.

Inspection:
Function: The quality of the potato chips is checked.

Flavoring:
Function: The flavors are mixed according to the desired quantity

Flavor Drum:
Function: The flavors blend harmoniously with the potato chips before moving to packaging.
